Freedom! *Insert Brilliant Scottish Accent Here*

In my brief summer update, I mentioned that moving back home has been a challenge. This remains to be true (although I must admit that discussing problems as they arise lately has alleviated most of the strain); however, I will soon leap from the nest! And by leap, I mean move to a place of my own. And by place of my own, I mean the apartment above the garage. And by apartment above the garage, I mean the residence 50 feet from where I now live... give or take a few inches. But a leap nonetheless! Wooohoo! Yes, I am excited enough to implement onomatopoeia in my blog.

Although I am not making a tremendous move, it is a move I am thrilled about and one that symbolizes more. Freedom. Independence. Responsibility. Shortly, I will have a rent to pay and car loan in my name. A brand new phone number to match a brand new Verizon account. I could even get a cat! Hmm, maybe I should start with a fish... Baby steps people.
